My Barefoot Babies

Lately the boys (especially Taye) have been obsessed with The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and The Big Hungry Bear. I can't count how many times I have read it in the last two weeks, and Taye can now quote almost the entire story along with me as I read. Darius has picked up a few lines as well. So tonight we were playing in their room, and Taye brought me the book. I was about halfway through when he jumped up and went downstairs. I had no idea what he was after. A few minutes later he came up yelling, "Mama, I got the red ripe strawberries from a mile away!"
