The one advantage to having no heat

One of the most super fun discoveries we made about new house after we bought it, was that there is no heat what so ever in the entire upstairs. Which happens to be where all the bedrooms are. There are old vents in the bedroom floors, where the heat apparently used to rise up from the first floor. However, at some point the ceilings downstairs were redone, and the holes were covered. We're going with space heaters for this year (which seems like such a good, safe idea in the boys' room).

Anyway...my point is, there is a silver lining to the story. We have not connected the space heaters yet, and it has been a bit chilly at night. The boys have taken to sharing a bed, and blankets, and just how cute is that?

So it's not all bad, anyway!
