My Barefoot Babies

This morning the boys and I were in bed, Darius was still sleeping, but Taye and I were awake. At some point I said that I needed to get up and get dressed because Rebecca and Kevin were coming over. Taye shook his head 'no.' I asked if he wanted to see Rebecca and Kevin, and he said "no." I acted surprised, and repeated "no?!" He laughed,and it became a game. I said, "What about Emma? Emma'scoming tomorrow, do you want to see Emma?"
"No."
"What about Auntie Penny?"
"No."
"Uncle Fran?"
"No."
"Buppa?"
"No."
"What about Daddy?"
"No."
"Do you want to see Mama?" He rolled over, snuggled up to me and said,
"YUP!"
