Our Day

This morning, Taye told me we needed to have a pirate tea party for breakfast. Which is, of course, when you dress like a pirate and drink tea.


Just FYI, when you're a pirate, you need to hold your hook up to your face and squint, like so:



After breakfast, we spent the day at the Dorsey's, and then the boys went out with mom and Jim while I met a friend for dinner.

At one point I told Darius that we would be leaving soon to go to Nana's office, and then she was going to take them to dinner. He said, "Oh, but that's so nice of her!"

When we were getting ready to leave, Taye said "Everything was so fun at the Dorsey's - playing outside, the dead mouse, washing my hands with soap, coming inside, that picnic outside, and that's all!"

All in all a good summary of the day.
