Last-last Sunday :o) we went to Buppa's church picnic to spend some time with him before he left us *sniff.* The boys were miserable - food, sunshine, and tons of space to run around, they hate that kind of thing.
Shockingly, Taye ran around non-stop. When he wasn't in the bounce house, he was climbing a tree (high enough that Daddy had to climb up and 'save' him). Thankfully, when that was getting old, they brought out the parachute. He had a blast getting in the way of that fun! They didn't seem to mind him being under it, so I just watched:
After a while, he was running around on top of it, and everyone was trying to get him off, so I went over. It turned out they just wanted him to sit in the middle. So he did, and they did a game I had never seen before. They sat the kids in the middle...
wrapped them up...
and pulled - sending the kids flying! It looked like a lot of fun, Taye definitely liked it.
Darius, meanwhile, preferred to stay around the blanket - thats where the real fun was after all. There was the food, and the people, and the fence where he could sit, lift up his feet, and say "wee!" Thrill of a lifetime.
There was lots of smooshy-face-lovey-dovey stuff too. I just think its good none of them even like each other, that way they won't miss each other at all...
Bye Buppa! We love you!
