What the Duck?

I had the following conversation with Taye today regarding a toy duck.

Taye (holding up said duck): "Thats a duck!" (or so I heard)
Mama: "Yes, thats a duck. Quack, quack."
Taye: "No! Thats not a truck!!"
Mama: "No, its not a truck, its a duck."
Taye: "Thats a baby duck."
Mama: "Oh, its a baby duck?"
Taye: "No! Thats not a baby duck!"
Mama (feeling confused): "Its not? Is it a Mama duck?"
Taye: "No! Thats not a Mama duck!"
Mama: "Well, is it a Daddy duck?"
Taye: "Thats a Daddy duck!" (duh)

I, for one, am just glad we got that cleared up.
